you tube videos

I have to admit I LOVE youtube. I think it weirdly connects us, as does facebook, but nonetheless I love watching the crazy stuff people come up with.
I have always loved funny videos, especially candid videos of people's lives.
I took a speech class once and we had to do a speech about a "how to" topic. I did: How to Become a Youtube Celebrity (silly, I know, but college students love stuff like that).

I gave these three guidelines:
1. Share your weird talent
2. Show us your very unique experience
3. Make it funny!

One of the videos I used as an example is going to start us off on my new series of favorite you tube videos!

Matt Harding did this video just to challenge himself--- Stride gum ended up paying him to do it and they used it as promotional material.

old jeans

I got new jeans today... which is always exciting. I love getting new clothes and these days it doesn't happen often on my budget!

Anywhoooo
I have two pairs of very loved jeans with huge gaping holes in very inappropriate places...I feel weird throwing them out. What should I do with them? There has to be a craft or something that would allow me to recycle my beloved denims that I've probably had since high school or before.. yikes.
Any ideas crafty ladies??

p.s. 10 days 'till Jesus' bday, 3 days till grad time & 6 days till my bday! woo hooo!

easton corbin and delray beach!

isnt he cute?!

This past week after I was done with classes, the boyfriend, David, and I went to South FL for a concert. Originally this was supposed to be a surprise but I don't think he could contain his excitement and I kept bugging him to tell me so I knew what to bring with me! (A girl needs to know how to dress for the occasion, right?)
So he got us tickets to see Easton Corbin in concert in Davie, FL, near Miami. Easton is a country artist from FL -around Gainesville, actually!
We went to Delray Beach and stayed at his mom's house Wednesday until Saturday. Davie was just a short drive from Delray on Thursday night.
The concert was a blast! He played his own songs and some songs by Alan Jackson and George Strait (two classics!). We were 10 ft away from him on the stage!!

I got to meet his mom's family in Delray- including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and of course grandma and grandpa Buzzelli...they are Italians from New Jersey!
I had alot of fun and he took me on a tour of Boca Raton and downtown Delray Beach. I had never been to South FL before and it was like a whole different state!

Can't wait to go back when it's warm outside and enjoy their beaches. :)

my last week of college..

Today is the beginning of my last week of classes. I am done Wednesday at 1030am!

I have a test each day (of course!) and lots to do to be finished here at UF!

I am super excited to be finished with school work and exams but a little sad that I am no longer going to be a college student :(

It's been a great 3.5 years!! I am so thankful for the experience and the people I have met along the way.
