Baby Cousins

I would just like to say that when my baby cousin Lilly was born in February 2008 I was DELIGHTED because.. I have a family full of BOYS. I have 6 nephews, at least 10 guy cousins, 1 brother and 1 sister and only 5 girl cousins... until Lilly, which made 6.

Next month- Lilly will have a little sister!! Layla Kay!

Just for the record- I love my nephews and my brother and all the boy cousins but us girls tend to be outnumbered!

In honor of the new cousin arriving, I painted Layla and Lilly's names on canvases and I am going to frame them as a gift to Jessi for her girls. :)

Arts and Crafts

Not only do I LOVE doing crafty artsy things, I also love this website, Etsy

I am really great at wasting hours at a time on Etsy, as there are so many cute and fun crafty people selling their creations! I get some inspirations from other people and sometimes dream of having enough time to sell some of my own stuff there.

For Christmas I handmade luggage tags for friends and family. I used a laminator from a friend and some of my own ribbon and scrapbook paper. Here is how some of them turned out..




I had a fabulous time making these tags.

After laminating I hole punched them and added a ribbon for attaching them to a bag. I put them in Christmasy paper lunch-size bags and also secured those with a ribbon that said, "Don't open till Christmas Day!"

My year came to a close with:

the end of my 6th semester at the University of Florida, my second Dancin' Gators show, a cruise for my 21st birthday, Christmas with my family and Steven's family, New Year's Eve at the Pearl, not to mention being home for a few weeks with my family and friends!

My year started with a trip to St.Augustine for my birthday with some of my very favorite friends and starting my 7th semester at UF... coming up is a wedding in Tampa, a wedding in Panama City, the birth of my cousin Jessi's second baby girl, and trip to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day!

I am excited to see what 2010 has in store!
